Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven experience in CAD design and CNC programming, focused on precision manufacturing.
- Experience in engineering for retail fixtures, event builds, and custom fixtures.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as GCode, vCarve, or AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machinery, tooling, and machining processes.
- Familiarity with CNC routers for wood applications.
- Experience with CAM software like Fusion 360 (a plus).
- Understanding of LEAN manufacturing methodologies (5s or 3s).
Responsibilities
- Manage engineering on multiple projects, including design, troubleshooting, and communication with partners/suppliers.
- Design for production efficiency, considering material use and shipping requirements.
- Ensure product quality, accuracy, and cost reduction through optimized methodologies.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop innovative, manufacturable designs.
- Maintain and update CAD libraries and design documentation.
- Apply LEAN manufacturing (5s or 3s) principles to improve build processes.
