Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience building and operating distributed systems in AWS or other cloud environments
- Comfortable in a statically typed, compiled language such as Go, Rust, C++, or Java
- Strong understanding of operational problems as engineering problems
- Focus on developer experience and scalable systems design
- Experience with distributed system failure, recovery, and evolution
Responsibilities
- Build and improve the engineering platform
- Treat infrastructure like software through automation and reliability improvements
- Improve developer experience via builder tools and CI/CD infrastructure
- Help keep production healthy with observability and incident response
- Mentor teammates and contribute to technical direction
