Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
- Comfortable with Node.js backend and React frontend.
- Experience with or interest in Golang and security-focused infrastructure.
- Experience shipping and operating production APIs/integrations (REST/GraphQL, webhooks, queues).
- Understanding of authn/authz patterns (OAuth2, OIDC, service-to-service auth).
- Deep understanding of system reliability, idempotency, and production debugging.
- Experience using AI coding tools effectively with strong engineering judgment.
- Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into clear designs.
Responsibilities
- Build external-facing APIs and Bridge infrastructure for ingest/egress of requests.
- Ship identity and verification integrations such as Sign in with Kodex (OIDC).
- Deliver cross-border/government portal integrations requiring spec compliance.
- Productize existing bespoke integrations into reusable, scalable primitives.
- Build self-serve integrations like marketplace-grade Slack app experiences.
- Improve reliability and observability across integration surfaces.
- Leverage AI agents to accelerate implementation while maintaining design correctness.
- Participate in on-call rotations to maintain system reliability.
- Raise the bar on engineering quality through architecture, testing, and refactors.
