Requirements
- BS/BA degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of professional QA / test engineering experience
- 5+ years of hands-on test automation
- 2+ years building and maintaining suites in Playwright
- Strong experience with Postman/Newman for API automation
- Proven experience as a release manager or release coordinator
- Hands-on experience with additional automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Appium) and BDD tooling
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Comfort writing SQL (Postgres)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum teams
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end quality for the Ceresti platform across web, mobile, and backend services
- Design, build, and maintain automated UI test suites in Playwright (TypeScript or Python)
- Build and maintain API test suites in Postman/Newman, covering REST endpoints, authentication, and contract validation
- Execute manual, exploratory, and regression testing for new features, bug fixes, and edge cases
- Lead release management activities, including coordination and sign-off
- Partner with developers and stakeholders during sprint planning to bake quality in
- Define and track quality metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Integrate test execution into CI/CD pipelines
- Champion accessibility and HIPAA/PHI safeguards
- Mentor engineers on test design and writing testable software
