Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or product analytics.
- Demonstrated, hands-on experience building a data warehouse or reporting database from scratch.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and extensive experience managing BigQuery.
- Proven ability to build, manage, and scale ETL or ELT data pipelines.
- Deep understanding of event-based analytics and GA4 to BigQuery exports.
- Expertise in data modeling and creating datasets for BI tools.
- Experience working with APIs, webhooks, or scheduled data syncs.
- Exceptional documentation, data governance, and data QA habits.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the reporting data architecture, structuring BigQuery datasets, tables, and views.
- Build and manage ingestion pipelines using APIs, webhooks, and ETL/ELT tools.
- Set up and manage GA4 to BigQuery exports.
- Integrate diverse data streams including GTM, CMS, email/SMS marketing, and POS systems.
- Create SQL models to transform raw data into reporting-ready tables.
- Prepare foundational data models for BI platforms like Looker Studio.
- Establish data QA processes and monitor pipeline reliability.
- Maintain documentation for schemas, data flows, and reporting logic.
