Requirements
- Senior-level expertise in Data Architecture or Analytics Engineering.
- Advanced proficiency with Databricks, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Demonstrable experience designing a semantic layer in production from scratch.
- Strong SQL optimization skills.
- Deep understanding of data modeling trade-offs (fact/dim vs denormalized).
- Strong focus on data quality and building automated QA/monitoring controls.
- Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills.
- Experience shipping LLM-based agents or tool-calling frameworks (Nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data platforms and semantic layers from scratch.
- Optimize SQL queries and data models for high-performance BI reporting.
- Build robust data reconciliation processes, schema contracts, and referential-integrity tests.
- Translate complex business metrics like MRR, churn, and customer funnels into self-serve products.
- Create comprehensive documentation including data dictionaries and runbooks.
- Collaborate with non-technical users to build LLM-based data agents (AI features).
