Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification required
- 7+ years of related accounting experience
- 5+ years of experience with Maconomy or equivalent ERP software
- Experience in service companies, specifically media or advertising
- Strong proficiency in U.S. GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience managing staff of 5 or more
- Fluency in English
- Located in Latin America
Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process including reconciliations and reporting
- Manage network month-end reporting in compliance with global deadlines
- Review payroll, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Manage intercompany activity reconciliation
- Oversee accounting department operations and collaborate with central AP/AR/Billing teams
- Prepare and maintain corporate allocations
- Assist with annual budget and quarterly reforecasts
- Manage internal and external audit schedules and inquiries
- Maintain SOX compliance and internal accounting controls
