Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- CPA certification required.
- 7+ years of related experience.
- Public Accounting experience preferred.
- 5+ years of Maconomy (or competitor) experience and proficiency.
- Experience in service, media, or advertising companies.
- Demonstrated competence in operational improvement and system optimization.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Experience managing a staff of 5+.
- Located in Latin America.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations, reporting requirements, and variance analysis.
- Review bi-weekly payroll, journal entries and prepare monthly reconciliations.
- Assist in the issuance of timely management reports and treasury functions.
- Manage the reconciliation of Intercompany activity.
- Prepare and maintain Corporate allocations and manage/review monthly close entries per U.S. GAAP.
- Oversee accounting department operations and work with central AP, AR, and Billing teams.
- Assist with the production of the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts.
- Manage internal and external audits and own SOX compliance.
