Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Peer Specialist.
- 1+ years experience in mental health peer support, mentoring, or skills training.
- Expertise working with young adults and adolescents in individual and group settings.
- Availability for 10 hours/week minimum, 3 days/week.
- Must reside in Oregon.
- Proficiency with Slack, Dropbox, Gmail, Zoom, Google Drive, and EMR.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Sheets.
- Access to reliable WiFi.
Responsibilities
- Engage clients in 1:1 peer discussions via secure platforms.
- Ensure clients are aligned with treatment goals.
- Monitor client attendance in programming.
- Provide skill-based interventions for stress stabilization.
- Conduct risk screenings and safety planning.
- Escalate to crisis clinicians as indicated.
- Maintain client engagement throughout treatment sessions.
