Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on frontend or full-stack development.
- 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring engineers (4–8 people) in a distributed environment.
- Deep experience with TypeScript and React, including React Native for mobile.
- Solid understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive UI design.
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with Product, Design, and cross-functional teams.
- Passion for building delightful, high-quality user experiences in fast-moving, product-driven environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a distributed team of engineers building the next generation of Kraken Pro’s trading interface.
- Drive the design, architecture, and delivery of performant, modular, and accessible frontend systems.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to shape and deliver on our product roadmap.
- Champion user experience through hands-on engagement with dogfooding, feedback loops, and usability improvements.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and collaboration within a globally distributed team.
- Mentor and develop engineers, helping them grow technically and professionally.
- Guide initiatives that modernize our FE stack, improve reliability, and enhance performance at scale.
