Job Details

6–7+ years of backend engineering experience with strong focus on server-side development
Strong expertise in Node.js and REST API design in production environments
Advanced PostgreSQL knowledge including schema design, optimization, and transactional integrity
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, SQS, API Gateway, and Secrets Manager
Experience designing event-driven systems including queues, retries, idempotency, and webhook processing
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
Strong understanding of API documentation standards such as OpenAPI/Swagger
Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across engineering, product, QA, and business teams
Strong ownership mindset with end-to-end accountability for production systems

Build and maintain production-grade Node.js services and REST APIs with a strong focus on reliability, versioning, and scalability
Own end-to-end ACH payment flows including debits, credits, retries, failure recovery, reconciliation, and virtual ledger integrity
Design and operate event-driven architectures using AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, and webhooks for asynchronous processing
Develop robust PostgreSQL schemas supporting complex financial transactions with strict data consistency and integrity requirements
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows to ensure safe and confident releases
Support operational needs by building internal tools and React-based dashboards when required
Produce clear technical documentation including design specs, runbooks, and scalability planning materials
Participate in customer-facing technical discussions to support integrations and troubleshoot live production issues
