Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in creative marketing, lifecycle marketing, or organic growth roles with a strong focus on copywriting and brand communication.
  • Proven expertise creating high-performing content for channels such as email, SMS, social media, and in-app experiences.
  • Strong ability to craft emotionally resonant messaging around complex, technical, or low-interest consumer topics.
  • Experience working within fast-paced startup or high-growth consumer environments.
  • Deep understanding of audience development, customer engagement, and brand positioning strategies.
  • Familiarity with community-driven platforms and social ecosystems, including channels like Reddit and emerging organic growth spaces.
  • Strong strategic mindset balanced with hands-on execution capabilities.
  • Excellent written communication, storytelling, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Portfolio demonstrating creative writing, brand storytelling, and customer engagement work strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative direction and execution of lifecycle marketing communications across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
  • Develop and refine a distinctive brand voice and messaging framework that resonates emotionally with customers and strengthens long-term engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Growth, Design, and Customer Insights teams to create customer-centric messaging strategies that support retention and conversion goals.
  • Create compelling organic content across digital channels, including social media and community-driven platforms, to drive brand affinity and customer growth.
  • Translate customer pain points, behavioral insights, and qualitative feedback into empathetic, high-impact copy and campaigns.
  • Optimize messaging performance through experimentation, audience understanding, and continuous iteration.
  • Serve as a key creative voice within the organization, influencing how the company communicates complex or traditionally “dry” topics in accessible and engaging ways.
  • Support the evolution of broader brand storytelling initiatives as the company scales its organic growth efforts.
