Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nurse Practitioner field.
- Professional NP licensure in good standing.
- Active medical licensure in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, or Wisconsin.
- 3 years of direct clinical experience in hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of clinical workflows, healthcare quality, compliance, EHR data management, and HIPAA.
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
- Strong charting skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Successfully complete background check.
- Active MMIS (State Medicaid) Credentials preferred.
- IBCLC or CLC certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure direct patient care is evidence-based and aligns with SimpliFed's maternal health program requirements.
- Assess and sign breast pump prescriptions for SimpliFed patients.
- Conduct professional services consultations with patients via telehealth.
- Communicate with patients via electronic medical record system and virtual video platform.
- Review patient intake forms.
- Work within scope of practice and clinical protocols.
- Maintain high degree of communication regarding work activity.
