Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another technical field
- 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager
- Experience leading plant projects in petrochemical refining, renewable energy assets, gas processing, or power systems through the full project lifecycle
- Experience serving as the primary customer point of contact for major equipment or plant projects
- Understanding of EU project execution requirements and best practices
- Fluent in English
- Spanish fluency preferred
- Experience executing projects in Spain preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from customer purchase order through completion, overseeing all phases including design, construction, and deployment
- Drive projects to meet the full range of customer contractual requirements
- Work effectively across the organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Own the project Management of Change (MoC) and Request for Information (RFI) processes
- Manage detailed project schedules and coordinate key milestones related to engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
- Track project budgets and analyze risks
- Communicate project updates to leadership
- Analyze and evaluate complex project challenges, developing creative solutions
- Conduct regular fabricator visits and site visits during construction and commissioning
- Onboard and manage external resources
