Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience building APIs using modern backend technologies
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical partners
- Track record of delivering high-quality software projects
- Enthusiasm for building systems using AI and large language models
- Experience with AI/LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic) preferred
- Experience with Python and MySQL preferred
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular preferred
- Experience deploying systems on AWS or other cloud providers
- DevOps and observability experience
- Knowledge of US healthcare industry and health tech
Responsibilities
- Ship AI-powered feature improvements to production
- Partner with Product and UX to scope and design new capabilities
- Master the existing tech stack including Python, MySQL, React, and AWS
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team
- Own significant features end-to-end from design through deployment
- Shape technical direction for AI-native product experiences
- Mentor other engineers and improve team practices
- Triage bugs and resolve production issues
