Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree with 5-8 years of business development/sales experience, OR College degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Clinical Research industry experience required.
  • Significant experience in account management, including building and expanding geographical territories.
  • Extensive experience in financial resource management (budgeting, expenditure, revenue).
  • Technical expertise in contract negotiation and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills across a range of groups internally and externally.
  • Educational specialization in Health Sciences or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales target objective for a defined region.
  • Build the client base in new regions.
  • Develop and lead client presentations.
  • Manage the internal proposal development process and timelines.
  • Develop draft proposals and cost estimates and provide quality control.
  • Support contract negotiations with clients and partners.
  • Lead marketing activities including trade/scientific shows.
  • Meet regularly with Sponsors to gauge satisfaction and understand needs.
  • Analyze and report on market trends and competitor offerings.
  • Identify and source new project vendors and manage vendor relationships.
