Requirements
- Undergraduate degree with 5-8 years of business development/sales experience, OR College degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Clinical Research industry experience required.
- Significant experience in account management, including building and expanding geographical territories.
- Extensive experience in financial resource management (budgeting, expenditure, revenue).
- Technical expertise in contract negotiation and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills across a range of groups internally and externally.
- Educational specialization in Health Sciences or Business preferred.
Responsibilities
- Achieve annual sales target objective for a defined region.
- Build the client base in new regions.
- Develop and lead client presentations.
- Manage the internal proposal development process and timelines.
- Develop draft proposals and cost estimates and provide quality control.
- Support contract negotiations with clients and partners.
- Lead marketing activities including trade/scientific shows.
- Meet regularly with Sponsors to gauge satisfaction and understand needs.
- Analyze and report on market trends and competitor offerings.
- Identify and source new project vendors and manage vendor relationships.
