Requirements
- Experience as Head, Director, or VP of Engineering in a scale-up environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven track record building processes for scaling organizations.
- Experience coaching and developing engineering managers and Senior+ engineers.
- Deep understanding of how engineering decisions impact product and revenue.
- Ability to translate business goals into technical priorities.
- Working knowledge of distributed systems, cloud architecture, and reliability engineering.
- Experience with CI/CD and observability tools.
- Strong conflict resolution and alignment-building skills.
- Experience collaborating in fully remote teams.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Introduce scalable engineering processes while preserving existing culture.
- Define and evolve engineering strategy and North Star to support 10x growth.
- Facilitate organization-wide planning and investment allocation.
- Partner with C-suite and function leaders on product, business, and talent strategy.
- Align hiring strategy with organizational goals.
- Improve cross-team collaboration and prevent silos.
- Mentor and develop engineering managers through coaching and career progression.
- Collaborate on SDLC, QA practices, and reliability improvements.
- Track engineering health metrics and mitigate risks.
