Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in Platform engineering in AI/ML disciplines.
- Strong background in building shared infrastructure, developer tooling, or foundational backend systems.
- Experience with AI/agentic systems including orchestration, model-serving abstractions, evaluation, and retrieval.
- Highly effective in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Strong distributed systems and backend engineering skills.
- Experience designing robust, typed interfaces such as REST, gRPC, or SDKs.
- Understanding of AI system performance, latency, throughput, and cost management.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Intermediate to Expert level proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript and React.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Architect the AI platform foundations: Design and evolve the core libraries, SDKs, APIs, and shared services.
- Build reusable agentic and retrieval primitives: Create modular platform components for orchestration, retrieval, and tool execution.
- Own the evaluation platform: Build shared evaluation infrastructure for AI quality measurement.
- Standardize context engineering: Develop systems for prompt management, versioning, and testing.
- Engineer for scale, reliability, and governance: Build serving, routing, and control layers.
- Drive technical strategy and platform adoption: Partner with leaders to turn architectural needs into shared standards and golden paths.
