Requirements
- Advanced degree in public health, epidemiology, statistics, public policy, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of MLE experience in global health programs.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing MLE systems for facility-based and community-based health programs in low- and middle-income countries.
- Strong quantitative skills, including sampling design and survey implementation.
- Proficiency in Stata or an equivalent statistical software package.
- Experience developing data quality assessment and verification methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex workstreams.
- Excellent report writing skills for program and donor audiences.
- Availability for at least one in-country trip to Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct in-country formative research including data collection tool development.
- Draft the MLE framework, including indicators, sampling approach, and evaluation methodology.
- Support the selection of independent monitoring firms and manage IRB protocol contributions.
- Develop comprehensive data collection instruments for baseline, endline, and validation surveys.
- Oversee baseline and endline survey implementation, including enumerator training and data quality assurance.
- Produce periodic program performance reports for the team and donors.
- Conduct pilot endline analysis, cost-effectiveness inputs, and program recommendations.
- Contribute to a final learning synthesis report for potential scale-up.
