Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or outbound prospecting
  • Experience within insurance, employee benefits, or related professional services preferred
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales or lead-generation targets
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling and relationship-based sales approaches
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, Copilot)
  • High energy, self-motivated, and target-driven
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Strong customer focus

Responsibilities

  • Build a robust pipeline of SME sales opportunities through outbound prospecting
  • Source and qualify new business opportunities among Canada-based multinational employers
  • Partner with Canadian and international broker partners to manage and advance SME opportunities
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to develop SME growth strategies
  • Take ownership of all SME quotations and adherence to service-level timelines
  • Assume full responsibility for the end-to-end sales cycle for SME opportunities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on expatriate & business travel medical solutions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity, activity, and lead qualification data in Salesforce
  • Facilitate pipeline review discussions with Regional Sales leadership
