Requirements
- Deep understanding of marketing principles (brand positioning, digital channels, content strategy)
- Consultative sales experience
- Ability to work autonomously in an agency environment
- Executive presence with comfort presenting to C-suite and VP-level decision-makers
- Strong communication and follow-through
- Understanding of pricing, margins, and commercial profitability
- Life sciences experience (pharma, biotech, CRO, CDMO) strongly preferred
- Proficiency in CRM management
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline of life sciences prospects (CDMOs, CROs, biotech, pharma, med device, diagnostics, and eClinical companies)
- Run discovery calls that uncover client business problems
- Lead proposal and pitch development in partnership with the VP of Commercial Strategy
- Manage 3 to 9 month deal cycles across multiple stakeholders
- Identify expansion opportunities within the sales process
- Maintain CRM hygiene and provide accurate pipeline forecasting
- Represent the agency at industry conferences (e.g., CPHI, BIO, SCOPE)
- Act as an internal bridge between market intelligence and service delivery
