Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a life sciences discipline (e.g., analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biology, biotechnology).
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the life sciences industry.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an account manager in the life sciences industry.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Experience selling products or services to pharma and biopharma PD/QC labs.
- Familiarity with bioproduction processes (mAbs, vaccines, CGTs) and clinical development.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau), and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 60% domestically.
Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue and unit growth targets for the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute plans to protect existing accounts and acquire new customers.
- Manage sales activities and data in Salesforce CRM.
- Identify and influence key decision makers in the buying process.
- Follow up on sales qualified leads.
- Build and manage partnerships with distributors, including training and joint customer visits.
- Identify opportunities in cell and gene therapies, nucleic acid drugs, and monoclonal antibodies.
- Cultivate relationships and act as a trusted advisor to biopharma developers and manufacturers.
- Perform territory sales analysis to provide strategic business reviews.
