Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or information security.
- 5+ years focused on data security architecture.
- Deep expertise with Azure data services (ADLS Gen2, Synapse, Data Factory, SQL, Microsoft Fabric).
- Proficiency in Databricks Unity Catalog, metastore design, and fine-grained access control.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, and identity governance.
- Experience with Azure Key Vault, encryption standards, and secrets management.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI-DSS).
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one language: Python, PySpark, PowerShell, or Terraform.
- Demonstrated experience securing data across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Proven ability to support presales activities and client-facing proposals.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain end-to-end data security architecture across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks.
- Define and enforce enterprise data classification, labeling, and handling standards.
- Lead threat modeling sessions for data pipelines and analytics workloads.
- Establish a Zero Trust data security model across all platforms.
- Architect and govern data security controls within Microsoft Fabric and Unity Catalog.
- Oversee encryption strategies, identity management, and network security for data services.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS.
- Provide technical mentorship and career guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
