Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience with health plan (payer) systems, workflows, operations, and integrations.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex healthcare implementations or integration initiatives.
- Expertise with healthcare interoperability, system integrations, and data flows (APIs, HL7, FHIR, X12).
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into scalable implementation guidance.
- Experience navigating ambiguous operational environments and developing solution strategies.
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical, product, and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience influencing technical and operational decisions without direct authority.
- Ability to diagnose complex workflow issues and recommend effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as MCG’s principal subject matter expert and escalation authority for payer workflows and integration architecture.
- Lead complex workflow discovery and implementation advisory engagements to define integration strategies.
- Advise implementation teams and customers on integrating MCG solutions into payer operational and technical ecosystems.
- Identify and resolve complex workflow and integration risks, gaps, and dependencies.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Sales to align solution design and implementation execution.
- Establish and evolve scalable implementation frameworks, standards, and reusable best practices.
- Provide functional leadership, mentorship, and subject matter guidance to implementation team members.
- Serve as a senior advisor during customer strategy and pre-implementation discussions.
- Develop knowledge aids and support cross-functional enablement efforts.
- Use AI-enabled tools to improve implementation efficiency and documentation quality.
