Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in software development within SaaS industry
- AWS data services experience
- Strong SQL skills at scale with columnar/analytical query engines (Redshift, BigQuery, or equivalent)
- Data warehouse design and ETL/ELT pipeline architecture
- Experience with data lake patterns
- Familiarity with streaming or near-real-time data patterns (Kafka, Kinesis, or similar)
- Demonstrated ownership of data quality, governance, and schema management
- Proven capabilities in building and retaining engaged, high-performing software development teams
- Experience managing the entire software development lifecycle of SaaS applications at scale
- Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, etc.)
- Exceptional written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple software engineering teams, ensuring they are working efficiently and are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide mentorship and career development opportunities to engineering managers and senior engineers.
- Lead efforts to recruit, hire, and retain top engineering talent.
- Develop and communicate the long-term technical vision and strategy.
- Collaborate with product management to develop and prioritize the engineering roadmap.
- Plan and manage the engineering budget.
- Assure adherence of your team to Rithum software development processes and standards.
- Oversee the design and development of advanced software solutions that scale across hundreds of servers.
- Regularly communicate progress and technical outcomes to the executive team.
