Requirements
- 6+ years in backend software development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java
- Demonstrated expertise in REST API design
- Deep experience with PostgreSQL and transactional workflows
- Practical exposure to Stripe or similar payment platforms
- Experience working with Kafka or equivalent messaging systems
- Hands-on knowledge of Linux environments
- Background in application security and secure coding principles
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code)
- Hands-on experience with Agentic Coding best practices
Responsibilities
- Build REST APIs with Kotlin or Java with a keen focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Implement secure, performant integrations with payment APIs
- Design and build RESTful services and event-driven architectures
- Manage data storage using relational databases
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and testing automation
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver end-to-end solutions
