Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer with strong backend development expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience in at least one additional server-side programming language.
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, including database modeling, query optimization, and data migration.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, software architecture, and design patterns.
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience building secure APIs, authentication, and asynchronous/queue-based architectures.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and serverless architectures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in remote-first and globally distributed teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and modern cloud technologies.
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, designers, and QA teams.
- Build and optimize high-performance systems capable of handling large transaction volumes.
- Develop secure, reliable, and maintainable API architectures.
- Optimize PostgreSQL databases through advanced query tuning and schema design.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and improve system reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Participate in product discovery, technical planning, and deployment processes.
- Support continuous improvement, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
