Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related discipline
- Strong Python skills
- Proficiency with version control
- Proficiency with command line
- Proficiency with web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
- Proficiency with debugging large projects
- Understanding of social implications of technology
- Working knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
- 2+ years of full-time software engineering experience
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Trello)
Responsibilities
- Facilitate summer residency program for rising juniors studying computer science.
- Lead workshops and demos for a subgroup of students.
- Provide office hours and check-in on student progress.
- Provide mentorship as students work on projects and prepare to apply for SWE internships.
- Function as instructors and advisors for student projects.
- Oversee end-of-residency presentations.
- Manage either Core or Lite student tracks.
