Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in commercial account leadership, preferably within medical communications or life sciences
- 5+ years of people management experience, including leadership of senior or cross-functional teams
- Proven track record in senior executive or director-level roles
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
- Deep understanding of life sciences industry dynamics and market trends
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems, reporting tools, and business performance tracking platforms
- Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or related scientific discipline (Master’s, PhD, or PharmD) preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for account management and medical communications teams
- Oversee development and execution of client account strategies to support life sciences partners
- Lead medical writing and scientific teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated client solutions
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements
- Partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate new technologies and process improvements
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory, legal, and industry standards
- Participate in executive-level strategic planning and business direction
