Requirements
- Advanced scientific or healthcare degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent)
- 4–8+ years of Medical Affairs or MSL experience
- Prior experience managing or leading teams strongly preferred
- Proven ability to lead and develop field-based teams
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Commercial, Marketing, and Clinical teams
- Ability to travel up to 40% for field engagement, co-travel, and conferences
- Must reside within assigned region
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage a regional team of MSLs, with clear accountability for performance and results.
- Provide consistent coaching through regular 1:1s, field co-travel, and structured performance feedback.
- Own onboarding, training, and ongoing development of MSL team members.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality scientific engagement across the region aligned to Medical Affairs priorities.
- Maintain strong visibility into regional activities, key accounts, and KOL engagement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial and regional leadership.
- Use data and field insights to keep the team accountable and focused on patient impact.
