Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE) or related field; Ph.D. preferred.
  • 15+ years of relevant industry experience in RF hardware design, wireless communications, and sensor technology.
  • Strong knowledge of RF/mmWave hardware design, phased array antenna fundamentals, and FMCW radar principles.
  • Expert proficiency in Cadence Allegro/Capture, Ansys HFSS, and Keysight ADS.
  • Expertise in Tx/Rx specification flow-down, linearity, noise analysis, and IC/package co-design.
  • Experience in Python scripting for test automation and hardware characterization.
  • Hands-on experience with probe stations, spectrum analyzers, and anechoic chambers.
  • Familiarity with module packaging technologies, SIPI simulation, and NPI processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development of radar sensing architectures, including module-level, board-level, and flex designs up through mmWave operating frequencies.
  • Collaborate with hardware, embedded, and software engineers and manufacturing partners to integrate radio platforms.
  • Author schematics and drive layout optimizations for RF/mmWave modules using EM simulations.
  • Conduct design reviews and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) to drive DfX and manufacturing quality.
  • Provide technical mentorship to team members.
  • Perform RF system lineup analyses and architect characterization setups for lab and production environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex RF/mmWave design issues and noise flow-down challenges for mass production.
