Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE) or related field; Ph.D. preferred.
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience in RF hardware design, wireless communications, and sensor technology.
- Strong knowledge of RF/mmWave hardware design, phased array antenna fundamentals, and FMCW radar principles.
- Expert proficiency in Cadence Allegro/Capture, Ansys HFSS, and Keysight ADS.
- Expertise in Tx/Rx specification flow-down, linearity, noise analysis, and IC/package co-design.
- Experience in Python scripting for test automation and hardware characterization.
- Hands-on experience with probe stations, spectrum analyzers, and anechoic chambers.
- Familiarity with module packaging technologies, SIPI simulation, and NPI processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of radar sensing architectures, including module-level, board-level, and flex designs up through mmWave operating frequencies.
- Collaborate with hardware, embedded, and software engineers and manufacturing partners to integrate radio platforms.
- Author schematics and drive layout optimizations for RF/mmWave modules using EM simulations.
- Conduct design reviews and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) to drive DfX and manufacturing quality.
- Provide technical mentorship to team members.
- Perform RF system lineup analyses and architect characterization setups for lab and production environments.
- Troubleshoot complex RF/mmWave design issues and noise flow-down challenges for mass production.
