Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in software development.
- Proven capabilities in building and retaining engaged, high-performing software development teams.
- Experience managing the entire software development lifecycle of SaaS applications at scale.
- Evidence of navigating a fast-paced, dynamic industry (like e-commerce).
- Demonstrated experience driving AI adoption within engineering organizations.
- Experience leading large-scale platform modernization initiatives, including cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise compliance and regulatory initiatives.
- Exceptional written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple software engineering teams, ensuring they are working efficiently and are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide mentorship and career development opportunities to engineering managers and senior engineers.
- Lead efforts to recruit, hire, and retain top engineering talent.
- Foster an environment where teams feel pride and ownership in their product and Rithum as a whole.
- Develop and communicate the long-term technical vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals.
- Collaborate with product management to develop and prioritize the engineering roadmap.
- Plan and manage the engineering budget.
- Assure education, awareness, and adherence of your team to Rithum software development processes and standards.
- Oversee the design and development of advanced software solutions that scale across hundreds of servers.
- Regularly communicate progress, technical challenges, and project outcomes to the executive team.
