Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive CRM and lifecycle marketing experience.
  • Proven omni-channel acumen in eCommerce, physical retail, and experiential business lines.
  • Experience supporting multiple business units simultaneously.
  • Deep platform expertise across a modern CRM stack (CEP/ESP, CDP, predictive intelligence).
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI integrations and API-driven workflows.
  • Strong creative sensibility for email/SMS.
  • Strong analytical instincts regarding LTV, retention, and engagement data.
  • Cross-functional leadership credibility.
  • Retail or omni-channel background.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full email and SMS calendar across all business units.
  • Build, scale, and optimize the full automation architecture.
  • Evaluate and implement best-of-breed CRM technologies.
  • Own the CDP and predictive intelligence platforms.
  • Build customer health reporting cadence.
  • Evolve the Sur La Table Perks loyalty program.
  • Lead and develop a focused CRM team.
  • Own the full financial picture for CRM, including P&L accountability.
