- 5+ years of reimbursement or comparable experience.
- Professional Coding Certification highly preferred.
- Proven experience dealing with insurance companies and payors.
- Experience in Cardiovascular or Sleep Apnea.
- Experience with reimbursement of medical devices.
- Experience with policy monitoring tools like Policy Reporter.
- Strong negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage assigned accounts, resolve problems, and conduct business planning.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the US reimbursement team and external consultants.
- Monitor payer policies and coverage for products to improve reimbursement rates.
- Negotiate with insurance companies regarding denials and policy issues.
- Develop and execute market access strategies for Canada.
- Support ZOLL IDTF reimbursement efforts.
- Provide reimbursement training for new hires and the field force.
- Act as the point of contact for field staff regarding coverage and reimbursement issues.
- Educate providers on home sleep testing reimbursement.
