Requirements

  • 2+ years of directly related work experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Proven ability to effectively schedule complex care regimens.
  • Proficiency in navigating EPIC EMR, including MyChart and scheduling modules.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • High level of customer service skills focusing on problem resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to high-volume incoming calls for scheduling and cancellations.
  • Perform patient registration, insurance verification, and documentation processing.
  • Coordinate complex appointments for clinic, imaging, lab, and treatment services.
  • Manage Appointment Request Workqueues and filter requests per specialty standards.
  • Support front desk operations, including check-ins and copay collection.
  • Assist patients with EMR portal (MyChart) activation and support.
  • Train new employees on department protocols and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure continuity of care and accurate order entry.
