Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED.
- 2+ years of directly related work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proven ability to effectively schedule complex care regimens.
- Proficiency in navigating EPIC EMR, including MyChart and scheduling modules.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- High level of customer service skills focusing on problem resolution.
Responsibilities
- Respond to high-volume incoming calls for scheduling and cancellations.
- Perform patient registration, insurance verification, and documentation processing.
- Coordinate complex appointments for clinic, imaging, lab, and treatment services.
- Manage Appointment Request Workqueues and filter requests per specialty standards.
- Support front desk operations, including check-ins and copay collection.
- Assist patients with EMR portal (MyChart) activation and support.
- Train new employees on department protocols and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure continuity of care and accurate order entry.
