Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years in engineering leadership roles.
- Experience managing real-time, high-throughput API platforms in production.
- Hands-on experience delivering AI/ML or GenAI projects in production.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI tooling ecosystem.
- Experience authoring or working with Claude Skills or similar agent frameworks.
- Background in test engineering and building/scaling test harness frameworks.
- Experience designing evaluation harnesses for AI/LLM systems.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and backend stacks (Node.js, Java, Go, Python).
- Experience with API gateways, load balancing, caching, and observability tools.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, Kafka, and stream processing.
- Experience developing MLOps capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams building platform capabilities using Experian and 3rd party data.
- Build and scale data pipelines for batch and real-time clients.
- Advocate for and implement AI and GenAI technologies, including LLM-powered services and agentic workflows.
- Oversee architecture and design of high-throughput, low-latency APIs.
- Collaborate on long-term vision and technical roadmap for the API platform.
- Define and implement best practices for AI-enabled systems and model observability.
- Guide the design and adoption of comprehensive test harness frameworks.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, and Data Science.
- Manage the delivery lifecycle and track performance metrics.
