Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software, quality, or platform engineering.
- 3+ years establishing quality programs, standards, and tooling.
- Experience evaluating and rolling out testing frameworks (integration, contract, E2E, load, performance).
- Strong CI/CD fluency with quality gate configuration.
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools.
- Experience building engineering dashboards and metrics tooling.
- Experience integrating security scanning into workflows.
- Technical fluency across modern engineering tooling.
- Exceptional communication and influence skills.
- Proven experience operating in startup environments.
Responsibilities
- Establish Lob's quality metrics program and per-repo dashboards.
- Define and roll out a scheduled nightly test execution strategy.
- Define and roll out Lob's Definition of Done and CI/CD gates.
- Define and champion Lob’s AI quality strategy.
- Partner with engineering teams to establish org-wide standards for integration and contract testing.
- Define standards and evaluate tooling for E2E test coverage.
- Evaluate and roll out load and performance testing tooling.
- Integrate security scanning into a unified vulnerability dashboard.
- Partner with engineering teams as a quality advocate and review system designs.
- Collaborate with leadership to define org-wide quality goals.
