Engineering at Lob

Lob engineers solve complex problems to automate and scale direct mail infrastructure. You will work on an AWS-based platform, dealing with observability, reliability, and cost optimization across distributed systems. The team leverages Node.js for its asynchronous API capabilities and utilizes relational databases like PostgreSQL. They build and improve telemetry pipelines, monitoring with Datadog and OpenTelemetry, and manage orchestration environments with HashiCorp Nomad. Expect to implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and optimize S3 storage, while balancing platform reliability with efficiency at scale.
