Requirements
- 10+ years leading global teams in multi-DC, mission-critical production environments.
- 10+ years experience with modern DC networking (OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, Cisco Nexus, NX-OS).
- Experience in hybrid cloud environment with focus on GCP workloads.
- Proven success building network automation and IaC (Ansible, Terraform, Python, Git, CI/CD).
- Experience modernizing legacy networks with config management and drift detection.
- In-depth knowledge of network observability (Thousand Eyes, Grafana, Loki, Netflow, Netscout).
- Experience supporting Kubernetes, AI, and GPU workloads.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
- Strong executive communication and operational data articulation skills.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor senior technical leaders.
Responsibilities
- Create a working map of the network estate across data centers and cloud footprint.
- Develop and execute a personnel evaluation and tech roadmap for network modernization.
- Transition from manual operations to network as code, automation, and drift control.
- Recruit new engineers and upskill existing team members.
- Redistribute on-call and incident loads across the team.
- Establish operational discipline and clear ownership models.
- Partner with infrastructure, software, security, and executive leadership.
