Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience as an Analytics Engineer in a fast-moving environment.
- Deep, practical dbt experience including incremental models and custom macros.
- Ability to debug and optimize slow or expensive models.
- Excellent SQL and data modeling fundamentals.
- Experience with a semantic layer or BI modeling tool (Omni, Looker, or similar).
- Experience translating business questions into metric definitions with stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and limited process.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core dbt models representing business entities (customers, revenue, marketing).
- Partner with stakeholders to define and implement metrics in Omni.
- Manage cross-functional analytics projects from initiation to completion.
- Balance modeling speed, accuracy, and long-term maintainability.
- Apply dbt tests, CI/CD, and documentation standards to maintain data quality.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to diagnose data issues and improve warehouse design.
