Requirements
- Track record of shipping small to medium-sized software projects in a production environment
- Experience building applications with Javascript/Typescript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS
- Experience with modern SPA frameworks, including Angular 2+
- Experience with API integrations and state management patterns such as NgRx or Redux
- Experience building or composing reusable Web Components and component libraries
- Familiarity with BEM methodology and Object-Oriented CSS principles
- Experience working with APIs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with strong ownership and collaboration skills
- Comfortable mentoring teammates and contributing to technical direction and architectural discussions
Responsibilities
- Build clean, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications using Typescript and Angular
- Lead the development and delivery of small to medium-sized software projects from planning through release
- Set a high technical bar for engineering quality, maintainability, and best practices
- Lead pair programming sessions and mentor engineers
- Drive front-end architecture and design decisions
- Develop and contribute to technical roadmaps
- Collaborate cross-functional with Product, QA, Insurance Product, and Actuarial teams
- Build and maintain reusable UI components and component libraries
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies
- Provide technical expertise and support across front-end systems
