Requirements
- At least 6-8 years’ prior experience working in a government agency, at a reputable law firm, or in-house.
- Experience handling litigation and regulatory matters, including advising non-attorney clients on compliance with fast-moving global legal requirements.
- Experience engaging with law enforcement and government actors around the world.
- Experience with criminal and civil law matters, including advising non-attorney clients on compliance with applicable laws.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar.
- Effective communicator, able to manage cross-functional projects.
- Executive presence to successfully negotiate with external partners and outside counsel.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal, operational, and strategic advice to our cutting-edge Blockchain Intelligence teams, including with respect to data collection methods and practices.
- Advise and support our global Law Enforcement Relations team with respect to subpoenas, expert witness testimony, and other projects.
- Provide litigation and regulatory support across the global enterprise, including advising on evidentiary issues, product issues, AI, sales, privacy, and employment.
- Assist on other legal matters impacting the Company as necessary.
