Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing employee lifecycle events and legal compliance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently and cohesively in a fast-paced, remote team.
  • Aptitude for innovation, process optimization, and AI tools.
  • Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and conflict management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work asynchronously.
  • Experience managing long-term sick leave or extended absence cases preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an expert on Time & Attendance matters and support complex projects.
  • Manage employee lifecycle leave and working hours matters including Family Leave, Sick Leave, and Time Tracking.
  • Advise clients and employees on employment legislation and Collective Bargaining Agreement updates.
  • Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders including payroll, legal counsel, and government bodies.
  • Assist in HR and financial audits to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Develop and update global internal documentation pertaining to Time & Attendance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and product development opportunities.
  • Maintain employee data integrity and handle confidential information.
