Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in NC/SC
- Must hold a compact license
- At least 5 years of experience in healthcare operations
- Experience in telemedicine
- Extremely well organized, detail oriented, and adaptable
- Comfortable working independently as well in a team environment
- Capable of working in a highly ambiguous, fast-paced environment
- Experience with Epic EMR is a plus
Responsibilities
- Optimize and develop clinical workflows to support clinician and patient experience
- Develop mastery using EHR systems and internal tools
- Receive, monitor, and analyze incoming lab results daily
- Collaborate with external vendors for lab and imaging services
- Monitor clinic phone for patient, clinician, lab, and pharmacy calls
- Collaborate with pharmacy, insurance, and enterprise partners on escalated issues
- On-call shifts monitoring Critical Lab Phone Line (24/7)
- Prepare prior authorizations requests
- Process and send EMR requests
