Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Consulting or a combination of these, selling to enterprise environments.
  • A "Product Journey" and "Customer Journey" mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and/or previous experience working as a software engineer or a DevOps engineer.
  • Familiarity and technical understanding of Observability tooling (e.g. Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace).
  • Familiarity with Build tools (e.g. Maven, Gradle, Android, Bazel, npm, Python).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, Harness, ArgoCD).
  • Familiarity with Artifact repositories (e.g. Artifactory, Nexus).
  • Understanding of Software Supply Chain Security.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives through MEDDIC to identify, qualify, and develop enterprise opportunities.
  • Conduct customer discovery, deliver compelling software demos, solution presentations and PoCs showcasing Develocity's value.
  • Bring structured customer feedback to Product Marketing, Product Management and Engineering to shape the roadmap.
  • Up to ~35% travel to customer sites and events.
