Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in financial planning, tax planning, or wealth advisory roles serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Advanced credentials such as CPA or JD are strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing complex UHNW client relationships, typically $25M+ net worth portfolios.
  • Strong expertise in tax planning, estate planning, wealth transfer, and comprehensive financial strategy development.
  • Deep understanding of income tax optimization, charitable planning, insurance strategies, and retirement planning.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple high-value relationships.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as eMoney or similar platforms.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across multidisciplinary advisory teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end wealth planning for a portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth clients by designing, executing, and continuously refining sophisticated financial strategies that address tax, estate, investment, and multi-generational wealth objectives.
  • Serve as the primary wealth planning advisor for 20–25 UHNW clients, ensuring proactive relationship management and ongoing strategic guidance.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive quarterly wealth plans, including cash flow analysis, tax projections, and estate and wealth transfer strategies.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors and internal specialists to identify client needs and deliver integrated, cross-functional solutions.
  • Design strategies across tax optimization, risk management, charitable giving, retirement planning, liquidity, and asset protection.
  • Lead client presentations, translating complex financial scenarios into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Coordinate execution of planning strategies with internal and external partners including CPAs, attorneys, and investment professionals.
  • Contribute to practice development initiatives, improving tools, processes, and advisory capabilities.
