Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or at least 1 year of equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD, HCPCS coding systems, and basic medical terminology.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with confidence in handling project coordination tasks independently.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within team-based or matrixed environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to frequent change while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
  • Ability to maintain a dedicated remote workspace with secure high-speed internet access.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and validate client-selected policy sets, mappings, and tables to ensure accurate implementation according to project specifications.
  • Support implementation teams and medical leadership with policy configuration questions, issue resolution, and technical research during client onboarding processes.
  • Review testing and production files to verify policies are functioning as expected and proactively identify potential issues or discrepancies.
  • Manage project timelines and coordinate deliverables to meet operational deadlines while communicating risks or delays to stakeholders.
  • Attend policy committee meetings, document decisions, and facilitate follow-up communication regarding client-specific policy outcomes.
  • Assist with payer data copy projects, E&M overcode initiatives, payer terminations, and clinical chart validation mapping activities.
  • Collaborate effectively across teams within a matrix organization while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Contribute to special projects, continuous process improvements, and additional operational initiatives as needed.
