Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or mortgage/financial services roles
  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive, client-facing environment
  • Deep ability to build trust and maintain long-term client and partner relationships
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and manage a self-directed pipeline
  • Knowledge of retail banking, credit adjudication, or mortgage lending is highly preferred
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a strong pipeline of mortgage opportunities through referrals, networking, and direct prospecting
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships by providing tailored mortgage solutions and trusted financial advice
  • Identify and engage key referral sources such as realtors, builders, and financial professionals to expand business opportunities
  • Execute end-to-end mortgage sales processes, from initial consultation through to closing and funding
  • Use sales management tools and CRM systems to track performance, manage leads, and optimize conversion rates
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and participate in coaching, joint calls, and ongoing performance development
  • Stay informed on mortgage products, credit policies, and market trends to deliver accurate and competitive solutions
