- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in a branch or retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of consumer and small business lending, teller operations, and banking products/services.
- Active NMLS registration or eligibility to obtain and maintain registration.
- Solid understanding of banking regulations, compliance standards, and operational procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic financial systems.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass background and credit checks as required.
Responsibilities
- Support the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations and ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate branch staff to achieve sales, service, and operational goals.
- Conduct consumer and small business loan interviews, assist with loan applications, and support lending processes.
- Operate teller services during peak hours or staffing shortages and ensure accurate transaction handling.
- Develop and expand customer relationships through proactive outreach, cross-selling, and account growth activities.
- Monitor sales performance and maintain accurate reporting using branch management systems.
- Ensure compliance with banking policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements, including NMLS standards.
- Assist with scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee development initiatives.
- Represent the branch in community engagement and local business development activities.
