Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security administration and access management.
  • Strong technical expertise in SAP security architecture and role-based authorization models across SAP environments such as ECC, BW/BI, S/4HANA, BW S/4HANA, Tableau, BOBJ, Portal, PI, SRM, and related applications.
  • Experience with SAP access design, user provisioning, role administration, data migration, implementation projects, and compliance management.
  • Solid understanding of audit requirements, security governance, and regulatory frameworks affecting enterprise systems and access controls.
  • Experience documenting, implementing, and maintaining security procedures, controls, and standards.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
  • SAP GRC certification or related security certifications are highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently within fast-paced enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage SAP security administration activities, including user access management, role maintenance, authorization design, and compliance monitoring across multiple SAP environments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain SAP security roles, including single and composite roles, ensuring alignment with business processes and security standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze workflows, policies, transactions, and system requirements to develop secure and effective access solutions.
  • Support SAP security initiatives related to audits, testing, implementation projects, service requests, and ongoing operational support.
  • Maintain and document security controls, procedures, standards, and compliance processes related to user and role administration.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements such as SOX controls and audit standards.
  • Partner with application owners and project teams to identify risks, recommend improvements, and implement secure access strategies across SAP landscapes.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on SAP security architecture, authorization concepts, and enterprise access management best practices.
